Revision 3, not just a defunct website anymore!

I have finished all the revisions I can to tthhee oddiissee. It is entirely free of grammatical mistakes (no promises) and is the best version of the story. It's to the point that I want to refer to the free version as an "open beta" but that sounds stupid in a way. Anyway, I've made it available to patrons and will upload it for purchase separately at some point here and on itch.

This has been the most intensive re-write, I got through each chapter 3 different times including a marathon session last night where I read and edited the whole thing at once at a magnification so the text would fill my entire laptop screen. This might not be healthy, but I still caught some mistakes, so whatever, it works.

I'm still gonna send this to publishers, but I think you all deserve to read it if you want, so that's what I'm doing. I'm tempering my expectations, I'm not expecting a book that features as much gay sex to sell a billion copies or whatever, but I think that there will be some people that get a lot out of it. I don't know, I'm happy about what it is now, and I'm happy to share it to the world.

It's honestly bittersweet leaving this project behind (aside from drawing a cover for it, I'm working on that), but it's been so rewarding to finally get it finished. Thanks to everyone who was supportive along the way.

We'll see what the next project is, but right now I'm taking it a little easy.

It was too dark to see anything. I t was as if he knew all of his body parts were there , but none of them were connected. His entire body was vibrating with energy, uncomfortable, like he was going to burst at the seams. He was hot, boiling, he had never sweat so much in his life and it felt like it was forcing its way through each individual pore, in the most unnatural fashion. He tried to stand, but he immediately collapsed, landing on his hands and knees on the hard ground. He was choking, and the pressure in his head was building. It felt like his eyeball s were going to explode . There was shrapnel in his stomach, and it was forcing its way through his throat. It was large, far too large, but it was still coming. “R has shown clear progress, having regained strength much quicker than expected. He’s yet to show any negative side-effects seen in other subjects. Whatever concerns may have arisen from his extended period of quote-unquote ‘off-gassing’ have been shown to be non-factors. “Of note, the anti-mutagen appears to have reacted differently than in other subjects. R’s mass has reduced significantly, but it seems unlikely he was originally 250 cm tall. R has not verbally expressed this, but he seems to be struggling with his size in a way that indicates an absence of muscle memory. My colleagues and I have come up with competing theories, but testing is inconclusive. We had hoped that R would tell us himself, but he has refused to speak despite our scans showing that he is perfectly able to do so.
